The width is adjustable on the brackets. It can adjust up to 21" W. If the inside walls of your cabinet are at 22", you would need wood spacers to mount the slides to.

I wanted to install this INTO a drawer. Is this possible? If so, what height should the drawer unit be to allow enough space for storage. Can the side rails be attached to the floor of the drawer? - Asked about product RAS-VIB-20CR Answer

This item can not install inside of a drawer, instead it becomes the drawer itself with the drawer front mounted to it.

Hi, U state that the board is expandable to 21", but I don't see it in any of your photos. I recvd one with my laundry rm via the kitchen company but it's a narrow little thing, not very conducive to ironing bigger items. It is harder to see in the pictures, but item RAS-VIB-20CR does extend out 21" from the drawer. The full dimensions of unit RAS-VIB-20CR are as follows:
VIB-20CR (Closed): 14-1/4" - 21" W x 20" D x 4" H
VIB-20CR (Open): 12" W x 37-7/10" L

Yes, this will fit. The cabinet opening requirements for RAS-VIB-20CR are 14-1/2��W x 20��D x 3-10/16��H

The minimum cabinet opening: 14-1/4" W
The minimum Height Opening: 3-10/16" H
The minimum Depth: 20" D

The largest cabinet/drawer width that this will adjust to is 21".

You take the existing drawer out of the opening, take off the drawer front, and mount the front to the front of the iron board. Depending on if you chose the 16" or the 20", the drawer minimum and maximum dimensions have been added to the page here:
