The Personal computer is taking over PAX. I don't know how it happened, Oregon why it's happening, but there is more PC ironware at PAX this year than I've always seen ahead—and definitely to a higher degree we see at E3 and GDC. Everyone is here, from Asus to Alienware to Corsair to Razer to Cooler Master to…well, basically everyone except AMD, for any cause.
People are construction PCs on the show floor. There are motherboards laying in the gaping. There's Side effect-themed case mods. There's liquid cooling galore. If you look-alike to drool all over machines, there's quite a bit of middle-candy at PAX.

Alienware
Alienware might be known for its high-end hardware, but its booth this class is focused nearly exclusively happening the other destruction of the market—its middle-tier Steam Machine, which goes out to a few early adopters in October and will release properly in November.
Cooler Skipper's oasis
Props to Cooler Subdue for representing what the PC community's about at PAX—teaching others to build machines, helping with build questions and overclocking, and in the main showing masses how easy this totally scene in reality can make up.
This is probably the second-best booth at PAX. Tons of display hardware, social stave, and a mellow air make this a great oasis in the eye of the glitzy show floor.
Corsair – Fallout 4
Incoming to Cooler Master, Corsair has possibly the go-to-meeting Microcomputer presence at Kiss of peace 2022. The company is giving inaccurate two-fold modded builds, comparable this excellent Fallout 4-themed tower. So much hardware, so little space. This imposing tournament set-up fills half of Gigabyte's stall with machines. They're not the flashiest builds we've seen at PAX, but put a dozen of them in the very distance? Information technology's a work of art.
Asus
Asus doesn't have an particularly flashy set-aweigh at PAX either, but it by all odds has one of the biggest. This massive "Republic of Gamers" booth takes up a solid clod of the sixth floor, with dozens of computers from gaming laptops all the means to brimfull-sized towers.
Steam Machine
Also, this Asus Steam clean Machine is incredibly tiny. (Red Bull for scale.)
Nvidia
Green lights? Tons of PCs? It must be Nvidia's kiosk.
On display: GTX 900-series cards and a whole army of G-Sync monitors waiting for you to pose the current PC games through with their paces.
EVGA
EVGA has this posy of motherboards hiding taboo on the sixth floor, in case you deficiency to get dormy confidential and personal with few circuitry.
MSI
Oral presentation of motherboards, MSI likewise had a bunch of naked mobos fabrication around—this prison term on itty-bitty glowing pedestals. And in the background is a showing case overloaded of graphics cards. It's equal porn for build fanatics.

Razer Unofficial
Razer had its familiar display of keyboards, mouses, and et cetera at Kiss of peace, but the real standout was its novel tournament-grade Wildcat "Xbox One" controller (it'll work just finely with your PC). I don't know whether people will prefer this Oregon Microsoft's first-party Xbox One Selected controller, but both are damn nifty—and incredibly expensive, at $150.
Logitech G633
Logitech has quite a little of hardware on exhibit at PAX, including quintuple setups to ostentate its new G29 racing pedal. Merely it also marks the debut of its modern flagship G633 and G933 headsets—the sometime of which is shown here.
Astro A50

With less than 6 months until the Rift's consumer edition finally ships, Oculus is down operative at PAX. HTC Vive
I got a happen to sound out the latest HTC Vive/SteamVR prototype—this is, I was told, the second-generation dev kit. It's pretty close to the shipping mock up we'll see in November, though on that point are still a some extra wires.

I was also allowed to take a picture of the Lighthouse tracking system that comes with the Vive. You'll demand to find a place for 2 of these when the system launches—up high, if possible.
